The science behind AX01
AX01 is a serum powered by polydeoxyribonucleotide (PdRN), a bioactive compound derived from the sperm cells of sustainably sourced salmon. PdRN soothes inflamed skin, while promoting cellular repair and regeneration.
Ageing of the skin is a complex process, driven in part by a gradual decline in cellular turnover and skin barrier function, leading to accumulated DNA damage over time. As we age, our cells become less efficient at repairing this damage, resulting in duller and less elastic skin. DNA repair can be supported by the supply of nutrients, such as nucleotides (including PdRN). This repair process is critical for maintaining the stability and integrity of the skin's structure, aiding skin cells in the natural process of constantly being replaced through cell division. AX01's low molecular weight PdRN helps support this skin rejuvenation and cellular renewal process. With continued use, fine lines are reduced and blood circulation is improved.
At PLAST, we are passionate about ingredient purity and potency. Our lab directly sources and farms the salmon used to engineer the PdRN in AX01. Our scientists use high-purity DNA extraction technology to engineer exceptionally efficacious anti-aging PdRN; virus inactivation and endotoxin removal are crucial steps in producing the high level of purity of our PdRN.
